Our story began when we met in high school, at Holly’s friend's birthday party. We went to the Homecoming game together and clicked with each other right away. After two weeks of talking and hanging out, we decided to start dating. Our love really blossomed in the nine years we were dating. Andrew works as a manager of environmental services at a hospital. He is always making sure his employees feel appreciated by going out of his way to bring them lunch or just having little pick me ups during the day.

After we started dating, I met his whole family who are warm, kind, and full of laughter. I could tell right away where Andrew got his kind and heartwarming personality. He has younger siblings and many younger cousins. Watching him interact with them showed me how gentle and loving he is with...

Holly is an environmental scientist in Michigan. She took on the role of heading a team building committee in her office, to ensure her coworkers have time to connect with each other and enjoy time away from their tedious work.

She has volunteered at a nature center, where she was able to interact with children on many various activities she was in charge of during events. When we met, I fell in love with Holly’s quiet, sincere, kind personality immediately.

We live in a charming, single-family style home. Our favorite part of our home is the kitchen where we love to make dinner together and try new recipes. In the summer, we love to grill outside and have our family over to make s'mores in the small fire pit.

In our neighborhood, we are surrounded by the nicest people, who bring us goodies during holidays. We live near an elementary school, where many children play at the playground after school.

We both grew up surrounded by family. Holly’s parents are divorced, but they have such a great relationship that they even went on vacations together. Andrew grew up with a sister of the same age, and a younger sister and brother. We both grew up with the value that family is important and our family functions were filled with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and extended family.

Our family is spread out around Michigan. Holly’s mom is two blocks away, her dad is an hour away, and Andrew’s...

We have many hobbies that we would love to share with a child. Holly loves to read and has a bookcase full of books, including stories from her childhood, which she can’t wait to read to a child. Andrew loves to learn about new topics, and loves Star Wars, even playing card games about the franchise. Many of our hobbies fall in the summer, like camping, canoeing, and other family fun activities. In the winter, we usually go sledding, but we mostly like to curl up on the couch and watch holiday movies with hot cocoa.
